All Things Brick or Treat!

When: October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, 31 (10/31 limited activities)

What to Bring: Event essentials include a fun Halloween costume, a camera for family photo ops, and a sweet tooth!

The annual Brick or Treat event returns with spooky, kooky trick or treating and LEGO fun for the whole family! This year features more event days, more entertainment and more candy – and it’s all included in park admission!

Something for the sweet tooth!

Pirates, witches, ghosts and goblins all gather for candy on the Brick or Treat trail! Kids 12 and under can trick-or-treat for several sweets along our interactive trail. The trail features candy brands such as Airheads, M&Ms, Twizzlers, and more! Also, most of our candy is vegan and gluten free.

In addition to our Brick or Treat trail, enjoy seasonal snacks such as dirt cups, or a LEGOLAND employee favorite, Pumpkin Spice Granny Apple Fries – SO GOOD!!

The Tale of Pirates’ Cove Fireworks Finale

No scary spirits in the sky at LEGOLAND, just fireworks! Join the pirate-themed journey of Captain Dreadbeard as he battles the Imperial Navy to save Pirates’ Cove. Enjoy dazzling lights as the sky fills with bricks when you wear your special LEGO viewing glasses during the fireworks spectacular.

Shows

My personal favorite, Groovin’ Graveyards live show, takes place in a friendly-not frightening graveyard, where you can listen to a haunted group drum up a ghoulish good time! Another popular show is Jammin’ Jack-O-Lanterns with animated LEGO pumpkins that sing popular festive songs. There is also a NEW show this year that I am excited to see called A Candy-Coated Curse with live singing and dancing!

Character Experiences

Our event with the most seasonal characters is Brick or Treat! We have a new friend joining us this year, our LEGO Spider Lady who will be making appearances in LEGO Kingdoms. Add these characters to your to-do list this season!

  • Spider Lady – NEW!
  • Mummy
  • Frankenstein
  • Witch
  • Mad Scientist
  • Vampire

LEGO Models & Building

No LEGOLAND event is complete without building! Kids can experience many LEGO activities including building their own spider to display on a giant web. We have some impressive models that are great for family photos too, such as the world’s largest LEGO pumpkin built out of approximately 13,000 LEGO bricks and a 13-foot LEGO hearse!

Shopping

Be-A-Minifigure Costume Shop will be returning for a second year! This year, the shop will also feature adult LEGO-themed costumes and Halloween Minifigures guests can build & buy, so get ready for some spook-tastic Minifigure trading!

Stay & Play

The fun doesn’t end in the park! Enjoy themed beverages and scavenger hunts at both LEGOLAND Hotel and LEGOLAND Beach Retreat. There’s also more trick or treating at the LEGOLAND Hotel on the boardwalk each night. New this year, families can reserved Halloween-themed hotel rooms by calling 1-888-690-5346!
